The American star Tom Cruise 62, was present at the premiere of “Twisters” in London, United Kingdom, on Monday (8). He posed next to the protagonist of the plot, Glen Powell with whom he performed in “Top Gun: Maverick” (2022).
Powell shared a snap alongside his teammate, and wrote: “When your wingman follows you into the storm,” referencing both films.
The 35-year-old artist, known for his roles in “Imperfect Plan” (2018) and “Everyone But You” (2023), star “Twisters” beside Daisy Edgar-Jones (“Normal People” and “The Crawdads”), 26.
The film is a reboot of “Twister” (1996) and follows two storm chasers as they risk their lives in an attempt to test an experimental weather warning system. The title hits theaters this Thursday (11).
The direction is Lee Isaac Chung Oscar-nominated filmmaker for “Minari: The Search for Happiness” (2020).
