Tom Cruise: ‘Funded by Russian oligarchs’, claims fired Mission Impossible worker

Former employee who was fired from the new film Mission Impossible argues that the Tom Cruise found money for his new project, thanks to funding from Russian oligarchs.

According to dailymail.co.ukthe former employee was tasked with finding locations to film scenes, including one depicting a train wreck, but ultimately his plans were not implemented into the film, and he was fired at the actor’s behest.

Thus, the publication states that Tom Cruise and the director Christopher McQuarrie hired thugs for their protection, as the employee began to threaten them and say that they are financed by Russians.

“Tom Cruise, who does not want to be dubbed by stuntmen and shoots all the dangerous scenes himself, was forced to hire husky henchmen to keep his head in peace,” the publication noted.

In fact, the fired employee launched a legal battle against Tom Cruise, the director as well as Paramount Studios, alleging that Russian oligarchs are funding Cruise’s work.

He also spoke of a related FBI investigation into Paramount in order to shed light on the financing of the famous star’s films.

“Tom and Chris are still working on Mission: Impossible 8, mostly in the UK… Tom is used to having security teams around him most of the time because of his fame. But for Chris it is something very new. No one is taking any chances,” the British publication underlines.
