Tom Hanks: In my 30-year career, I’ve only made four good movies

Just four very good films he stated that he has shot Tom Hanks in his 30-year career. The actor, who has been in Hollywood since the 1980s, when he starred in the films ‘Splash!’, ‘Big’ and ‘Burbs’.

During the 1990s, he began to win awards, including the Academy Award for Best Actor two years in a row for his roles in the films ‘Forrest Gump’ and ‘Philadelphia’. His hits in the 1990s include ‘Toy Story’, ‘You’ve Got Mail’ and ‘The Green Mile’.

Hanks has also collaborated several times with director Steven Spielberg in the film projects, ‘Saving Private Ryan’, ‘Catch Me If You Can’, ‘The Terminal’, ‘Bridge of Spies’ and ‘The Post’.

THE actor promoting his first novel, The Making of Another Major Motion Picture Masterpiece, he told People: “No one knows how a movie is made – although everyone thinks they do.”

The actor and producer added, as reported by the Athens News Agency: “I’ve made a lot of movies (and four of them are really good, I think) and it still amazes me how movies are made movies. From a flash of an idea to the image flashing on the screen, the whole process is a miracle.”

Tom Hanks’ comment left fans wondering which movies he was referring to. His admission implies that he is aware that many of his films have been poorly received over the years.
