The British actor Tom Hardy 46, spoke about the possibility of returning to the universe of “Mad Max” . He starred in one of the franchise’s feature films, “Fury Road” 2015.
“I don’t think that will be happening,” he revealed in an interview with the magazine Forbes.
During the last release of the saga, the director George Miller revealed that he has ideas for a new film. In fact, the plot already has a name: “The Wasteland” . It would be set a year before the events of “Fury Road” and after “Angry” .
A Teamthe Australian filmmaker said that production depends on the success of the film starring Anya Taylor-Joy and that he would like Hardy to reprise his role as Max in the new plot.
“Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” premiered in theaters in May this year. To date, the film has grossed US$160.6 million (about R$875.2 million) around the world, according to data from Box Office Mojo.
