Tom Holland returns to the big screen with the movie ‘Uncharted’ and here is the trailer!

Sony finally released the first teaser for the new movie Uncharted, the first version live-action from the famous PlayStation video game franchise. The film had been in development since 2008. However, it was until 2017 that Tom Holland was confirmed as the protagonist of the project.

Holland plays Nathan Drake, while Mark Wahlberg will play his mentor, Victor Sullivan. Ruben Fleischer, who directed Venom, is in charge of the film, which was written by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, and is told as the prequel to the video games created by Amy Hennig and Naughty Dog Studios.

In this adventure, Nate is in search of Magellan’s treasure and with Sully’s help, he could find it. The film will recreate several iconic moments from the popular PlayStation franchise, including the sequence in the video game’s cargo plane. Uncharted 3, as well as that of the elegant party of Uncharted 4.

Sony chose to cast Tom Holland because of his young good looks despite the fact that Drake’s character should be between 30 and 40 years old. In addition, according to different reports, it is believed that this could be the first installment of a successful and long franchise, so choosing Holland as its protagonist would make sense in the long term.

Be that as it may, it is clear that Tom Holland, with his beautiful face and his vast experience in blockbuster action films such as Spider-Man and the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he will surely have us glued to the screen with his great talent and, if we are honest, with those wet or shirtless scenes.

Uncharted It also features stars like Tati Gabrielle, who just participated in the third season of You like Madeleine, Sophia Ali and Antonio Banderas, the latter will be the villain of the story although his name or which of the characters in the video game he is representing has not yet been revealed.
