“Tomorrowland is one big family,” says Alok about the Belgian edition of the festival

DJ Alok will be part of the Tomorrowland Belgium lineup for the third time. The Brazilian will take to the festival’s main stage this Saturday (20) and will perform again at The Library, the event’s second largest stage, next Friday (26).

The owner of hits such as “Hear Me Now” and “Fuego” has already played at the franchise’s main event in the 2019 and 2022 editions. In an interview with CNN the Goiano revealed that he sees Tomorrowland as a family and confessed that his relationship with the festival is long-standing.

If he discovered Tomorrowland by watching an after movie (a video prepared with the best moments of the event) from one edition, today he is the festival’s ambassador in Brazil and has a documentary that portrays his journey with the event, “We Are Tomorrow”.

“Tomorrowland is like a big family to me. I became the festival’s ambassador in Brazil and that is a responsibility, but also an honor. I remember finding out about Tomorrowland through an after movie and that really touched me. Everyone wanted to know what was going on there,” he said. “Today I’m here in Belgium, playing on the main stage and being part of their history and they of mine.”

Alok is currently performing a series of shows in Europe with the “Summer’s Back Tour”, which includes countries such as Spain, the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany and France, as well as Belgium itself. His most recent release, “Summer’s Back”, is part of the setlist of the shows and gives its name to the tour.

How to watch Alok’s shows at Tomorrowland Belgium?

The Brazilian DJ’s performances at Tomorrowland Belgium will be broadcast worldwide on official festival channel on YouTube.

This Saturday, Alok will take to the festival’s main stage at 3:40 pm (Brasília time). In addition to him, names such as Catdealers and Dimitri Vegas will also perform at the same venue.

On July 26, the Goiás native will perform at The Library at 4 pm (Brasília time) and promises to do a different set than the one he will offer at his first show. The idea is for the guest DJs to create performances that resemble their beats to the universe of poetry and literature in direct reference to the name of the stage, which means “library” in English.
