Top 3 airdrops of the last week of December

Before the holidays, the cryptocurrency market is experiencing significant corrections. However, several new projects offer potential opportunities for earning money without initial investment.

We’re talking about the three most notable airdrops that are worth a closer look during the last week of 2024.

Caldera

Caldera is a platform for deploying rollups. The project allows you to create high-performance solutions using frameworks such as Arbitrum Nitro, Optimism Bedrock, zkSync ZK Stack and Polygon CDK.

Previously, the Caldera team raised funding in the amount of $25 million. Of this amount, $15 million was invested by the Founders fund.

Caldera is currently testing its own network. Within the testnet, users can complete three tasks. One of them is the creation of a non-fungible token (NFT), developed jointly with the Apechain project.

Additionally, Caldera recently reached $1 billion in Total Value Locked (TVL), and to celebrate, the platform unveiled yet another NFT. Users can connect wallets and mint the token for free on the project’s official website.

“From December 22nd to January 1st, complete short challenges posted on our social media to create free trading cards. On January 2nd, we will randomly select one lucky person to win one year of paid gas on Ethereum. Yes, a whole year. Three additional lucky winners will also receive a Ledger Flex!” – announced the Caldera team on X (formerly Twitter).

Those interested in receiving the airdrop can also mint an NFT called “Rollup Providoor” on special website. Caldera developers created this token in collaboration with RARI Chain.

The official distribution date is still unknown. However, many tasks that end this week can potentially increase your chances of participating in the event.

Anoma (Namada)

Anoma is a decentralized operating system designed to integrate multiple blockchain networks into a single development environment. The project raised $57.75 million from Polychain Capital and Coinbase Ventures.

As part of a campaign to encourage users to Guild website the Anoma team distributes roles to participants on its server in Discord. To obtain them, users need to complete various tasks that may appear in the near future.

“We are ready to abandon bridges in 2024. Anoma introduces a new model where state can move freely between blockchains, making bridges unnecessary,” the project team wrote on the X social network.

The Anoma team has not yet announced the exact date of the airdrop. However, current project initiatives show that early participation in the site’s activities is important to receive free tokens.

OpenLoop (OPEN)

OpenLoop is a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) that is changing the way internet services are delivered. The platform allows you to share unused bandwidth.

The project appeared in 2024. Previously, his team attracted investments of $15 million from the IPN Foundation.

Recently, OpenLoop developers presented browser extension. For passive use of the product, users are awarded points, which may later be needed to participate in the airdrop.

“The OpenLoop extension has already been downloaded 200 thousand times! A huge thank you to all of our validators, partners, supporters and community members who made this milestone possible. Let’s keep this momentum going – 500k, we’re coming!” wrote the OpenLoop team at X.

The project is currently at the testnet stage. It is expected that OpenLoop could enter the mainnet as early as early 2025. Then the airdrop will probably go through.
