Human Horizons, also known as Hozon Auto, has begun selling the HiPhi X electric crossover in China. Early adopters were given the opportunity to purchase the special Founder Edition.

The cost of the HiPhi X Founder Edition is about $ 125,000, while the comparable Tesla Model X crossover in China costs almost $ 8,000 more. The HiPhi X has a length of 5200 mm with a width and height of 2062 and 1618 mm, respectively. HiPhi X is available in four and six seater versions. Both versions are equipped with a 97 kWh battery. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds. It is equipped with two electric motors that develop 590 hp. and 820 Nm of torque. For comparison, the Tesla Model X Long Range electric car is equipped with a 670-horsepower unit and accelerates to 100 km / h in 0.1 seconds.

These machines are also compared due to a similar door opening system on the one hand, but in reality they are very different. The rear doors overshadow the Tesla Model X and the famous falcon wings. HiPhi X users can also open a part of the roof above the rear sofa, while the doors themselves open separately against the direction of travel. It turns out that HiPhi X has as many as seven doors.

In the cabin of the HiPhi X Founder Edition, there are as many as three screens, with the largest having a diagonal of 19.9 inches. Also, the car is equipped with a Meridian sound system and a fragrance. There are a lot of electronic driver assistance systems.

Hozon Auto plans to focus on direct sales to customers and not go to dealers. By the end of the year, the company will open up to 120 showrooms in China, as well as service and delivery points. The same strategy is used by Tesla or Nio. Xpeng, on the other hand, said that traditional dealers will be an important part of their sales strategy.
