The notorious singer of Brazilian Popular Music (MPB), Toquinho, released, this Friday (28), an album celebrating successes that he accumulated throughout his career of more than 50 years.
For “Novas Cores, Eternas Canções”, the guitarist from São Paulo interpreted eight songs in new versions with the collaboration of guests such as Caetano Veloso, Pedro Bial, Sandy and others.
Among the recorded songs are compositions made with Toquinho’s great musical partner, Vinícius de Moraes, such as “Tarde em Itapuã”, “O bem-amado” and “Testament”.
The version of “Tarde em Itapuã” sharing voices with Caetano had already been revealed in November last year.
The new version adds electronic beats and accelerates the pace of the version that became popular in the country.
