The financial channel presented net outflows of US$ 3.669 billion in the period. This is the result of contributions in the amount of US$ 540.719 billion and withdrawals totaling US$ 544.388 billion. The segment brings together foreign direct and portfolio investments, profit remittances and interest payments, among other operations.
In foreign trade, the 2021 balance was positive at US$ 9.803 billion, with imports of US$ 215.443 billion and exports of US$ 225.246 billion.
Exports include US$ 28.407 billion in Advances on Exchange Contracts (ACC), US$ 53.357 billion in Advance Payment (PA) and US$ 143.482 billion in other entries.
December
After ending November with net outflows of US$ 3.398 billion, the country registered a negative exchange flow of US$ 9.946 billion in December, informed the Central Bank.
The financial channel presented net outflows of US$ 9.255 billion in the period. This is the result of contributions in the amount of US$ 62.253 billion and withdrawals totaling US$ 71.508 billion.
In foreign trade, the balance in December was negative by US$ 691 million, with imports of US$ 19.577 billion and exports of US$ 18.887 billion.
Exports include US$ 1.828 billion in Advances on Exchange Contracts, US$ 4.161 billion in PA and US$ 12.897 billion in other entries.
Week
The exchange flow registered last week (from December 27th to 30th) to Brazil was negative by US$ 2.824 billion, informed the Central Bank.
The financial channel presented net outflows of US$ 2.073 billion in the period. This is the result of contributions in the amount of US$ 7.807 billion and withdrawals totaling US$ 9.880 billion.
In foreign trade, the balance for the week was negative by US$ 751 million, with imports of US$ 3.874 billion and exports of US$ 3.123 billion.
Exports include US$ 257 million in ACC, US$ 630 million in Advance Payment and US$ 2.236 billion in other entries.
