The financial channel presented net inflows of US$ 4.897 billion in the period. This is the result of contributions in the amount of US$ 40.172 billion and withdrawals totaling US$ 35.275 billion. The segment includes direct and portfolio foreign investments, profit remittances and interest payments, among other operations.
In foreign trade, the balance in January, until the 28th, was negative by US$ 4.108 billion, with imports of US$ 18.012 billion and exports of US$ 13.904 billion.
Exports include US$ 2.264 billion in Advance on Exchange Contracts (ACC), US$ 2.105 billion in Advance Payment (PA) and US$ 9.534 billion in other inflows.

The foreign exchange flow registered last week (from January 24th to 28th) to Brazil was positive at US$ 1.967 billion, informed the Central Bank.
The financial channel presented net inflows of US$ 2.927 billion in the period. This is the result of contributions totaling US$ 12.836 billion and withdrawals totaling US$ 9.909 billion.
In foreign trade, the week’s balance was negative by US$ 960 million, with imports of US$ 5.352 billion and exports of US$ 4.392 billion.
Exports include US$ 453 million in Advances on Exchange Contracts, US$ 717 million in PA and US$ 3.222 billion in other inflows.
