TotalEnergies reiterates that it does not supply jet fuel to the Russian military

TotalEnergies, which came under fire after a report earlier this week that it supplied jet fuel to the Russian military, today again denied the report, adding that it would seek to end the “controversy”, according to what reports Reuters.

In a statement, the company said it had asked Novatek’s Russian partner for clarity on the concentrate produced by their joint ventures.

“The range of products processed at the Ust-Luga complex includes jet fuel (Jet A-1), which is exported exclusively outside of Russia and is not even certified to be sold domestically,” TotalEnergies said. citing Novatek’s response.

“Therefore, it is clear that the media reports and calls for an investigation into TotalEnergies’ activities in our joint companies have absolutely no basis,” he added.
