Totti-Blasi divorce, face to face in court is approaching

Time ago Francesco Totti And Ilary Blasi – after sensational (and rancorous) breakup last summer – have turned the page: he is inseparable from his new girlfriend Naomi Bocchishe would have rediscovered love with the German entrepreneur Bastian Muller. Yet the former spouses – net of new twists – will soon be forced to meet face to face in court. It already happened last November 11, when they faced the second hearing of the now famous «challenge of Rolex and designer handbags». But now, as revealed by the Corriere della Serathere is another crucial date in their calendar: the March 14, 2023, on a Tuesday. It is the day on which the first hearing was set for the judicial separation between the former Captain and the former Velina. There is therefore not much time left to avert one legal battle that could last almost three years.

Totti and Ilary’s lawyers – Antonio Conte for him and Alexander Simeon for her – they have been for months trying to reach an agreement and they have seen each other several times in secret, even around Christmas. But the negotiation is complex. There are too many variables on the table – money, assets, property – on which the two sides are not in agreement. So it is by no means certain that we arrive at a amicable divorce. On the other hand, there is an atmosphere that is anything but friendly between the two exes, as can also be understood from the “handbags against Rolex” dispute which, moreover, has not yet found an epilogue. After the hearing of 11 November, another should take place in the Civil Court of Rome in the next few days.

The parties would have asked the judge to hear five witnesses each. To reconstruct how Ilary’s designer bags disappeared and then reappeared, found in the spa of the family mega-villa in Eur. And who really owns the precious one million euro Rolex collection that the showgirl surreptitiously removed from the bank’s safety deposit box, together with her father Roberto, last June. According to the version provided in court by the showgirl, the watches in question belong to her, because Totti allegedly gave them to her. But Francesco denies ever having given them to him and wants them back. For this he had hidden his ex-wife’s designer bags (and shoes): he was hoping for an exchange that never happened. The super luxury accessories in recent months are returned to the rightful owner’s closet. On the fate of the watches, on the other hand, the word rests with the judge. In short, given the tense climate, it will be difficult for Totti and Blasi to be able to find an agreement that will avoid the clash in court (also) for divorce in March.
