In the last two years, Tottis – Bingo has made sales to China, Arab countries and Korea. In the fiscal year 2020 it made sales in Latin America, Chile and Peru, something that emerges from the recently published financial statements for the last year.

It is noted that in the wafer sector, which is its main source of revenue, the company managed to maintain a stable share of the Greek market at 40.9%, according to statistics from the measurement company Nielsen.

The category of chocolate in sales value in 2020 is strongly upward

It is characteristic, however, that during 2020, the category of chocolate in Greece moved strongly upwards, increasing its value and exceeding the barrier of 100 million and as it reached sales of 103.26 million euros, from 90.58 million euros that was in 2019 and 91.74 million euros that was in 2018, based on IRI data that we have at our disposal.

In addition – again in terms of value – until April 4, 2021, compared to the corresponding period of 2020, chocolate again showed upward trends by 1.8% from 33 million euros to 33.59 million. euro.

The dynamics of the chocolate category was captured last year but also this year with greater intensity, given the restrictive measures that actually increased consumption at home.

The turnover of 2020 is at + 1.7%

In terms of its course during 2020, Tottis-Bingo recorded growth with its turnover increasing by 1.7% to 62.38 million euros from 61.36 million euros in 2019.

At the same time, the gross profit margin remained almost constant at 20.01% in 2020 compared to 19.99% in 2019 due to the stability in raw material prices, a picture which, however, has changed drastically this year, given the increase in raw materials. energy costs and transportation.

Profits before taxes from 593 thousand euros in 2019, increased to 602 thousand euros in 2020. Equity at the end of ’20 was 13.87 million euros compared to 13.63 million euros.
