Towards Christmas in the red zone: obstacle parties between openings and closings

RED ZONE FROM 24 TO 27 DECEMBER

Only groceries, pharmacies, tobacconists, newsagents and bookstores are open at the usual times of holidays. It will be possible to visit parents and elderly relatives, but maximum two.

On holidays and days before holidays, Eve, Christmas, Boxing Day, Sunday 27, restaurants and bars will be closed all day as will the shops. It will be possible to move only within your own municipality. The only possible exceptions are for masses and family reunification, with elderly and lonely people, within the municipality. It is allowed to go out for sports or physical activity and to assist those who are not self-sufficient.

FROM 28 TO 30 DECEMBER
On the days between the two blocks, that is, December 28, 29 and 30, the curfew remains at 10pm, but the shops will be open and bars, restaurants, pastry shops and pubs will close at 6pm. The ban on moving between regions remains.

FROM 31 DECEMBER TO 3 JANUARY
The red zone returns. Restaurants and bars will be closed all day as well as shops, except those with basic necessities. It will be possible to move only within your own municipality. The only possible exceptions are for masses and family reunification, with elderly and lonely people. The goal is to avoid dinners and stays away from home on New Year’s Eve. Fines from 400 to 1000 euros.

FROM 4 TO 6 JANUARY
There is no longer the red zone, but the block between the regions remains. The activities reopen, the curfew remains at 10pm.
