Two young people were inside a ride at a London amusement park when one of the machine’s suspension ropes broke on Wednesday (14). A video shows the moment when the failure occurs and the structure hangs on one side with the young people inside.
According to the park where the accident took place, Winter Wonderland, the two people on the ride were “safely removed outside, examined by our on-site doctors and were not injured.”

The park also clarified that the ride will remain closed while “a further investigation takes place.”
“All of our tours undergo rigorous and regular safety checks by experienced and trained health and safety staff. We also provide regular training for all employees to ensure our visitors enjoy a fun and safe experience. All other Winter Wonderland attractions are operating normally,” they said on social media.
