Toyota, which has previously released several black versions of its vehicles, has unveiled a special version of the Toyota Prius Nightshade Edition hybrid.
Toyota Prius Nightshade Edition buyers are offered front-wheel or all-wheel drive versions, as well as three body paint options: Midnight Black Metallic, Super White and Silver Metallic.
Toyota Prius Nightshade Edition received black accents on headlights, side mirrors, door handles and other details. The car received 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels on the front-wheel drive models or 15-inch wheels on the all-wheel drive version, combined with black inserts and nuts.
The passenger compartment is equipped with standard front driver’s and passenger’s seats with SofTex trim with heating and power adjustment. The steering wheel is covered with the same material, and a semi-gloss black center console completes the look of the interior.
The car uses a 1.8-liter four-cylinder petrol engine and two electric motors. The Toyota Prius Nightshade Edition is the first hybrid in the Nightshade lineup and will be available this fall with prices to be announced closer to the launch date.
