The Brazilian trade balance registered a surplus of US$ 837.1 million in the third week of February (14th to 20th).
According to data released this Monday (21) by the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) of the Ministry of Economy, the value was reached with exports of US$ 5.505 billion and imports of US$ 4.668 billion.
In February, the trade result accumulated a surplus of US$ 2.547 billion. In the year, the balance is positive at US$ 2.333 billion.
The daily average of exports registered, in the first three weeks of February, an increase of 73.3% in Agriculture, growth of 7.3% in Extractive Industry and 20.8% in products from the Manufacturing Industry.
Imports fell by 13.9% in Agriculture, growth of 116.6% in Extractive Industry and 14.0% in products from the Manufacturing Industry.
