The Brazilian trade balance registered a trade surplus of US$ 2.427 billion in the third week of March (14th to 20th).
According to data released this Monday (21) by the Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex) of the Ministry of Economy, the value was reached with exports of US$ 6.923 billion and imports of US$ 4.495 billion.
In March, the trade result accumulated a surplus of US$ 6.178 billion. In the year, the balance is positive at US$ 10.108 billion.
The daily average of exports recorded an increase of 36.5% in the first three weeks of March, with a rise of 41.5% in agriculture, growth of 44.1% in Manufacturing industry and 19.7% in extractive industry products. .
Imports, on the other hand, rose 24.7%, with a rise of 6.7% in agriculture, growth of 72.5% in extractive industry and 24.7% in products from the manufacturing industry, always in comparison with the daily average.
