A 15-year-old teenager, a student at Colégio Agostiniano São José, was beaten inside the school on April 30th and had his skull fractured, in addition to several fractures to his facial bones. According to the victim's father, the young man is recovering.
A CNN He contacted the school, which confirmed the case and said they regretted what happened and that the attacker is no longer part of the student body. The Public Security Secretariat (SSP) reported that the victim's father registered a police report and that the facts were determined to be bodily injury (below, the complete notes).
The victim's father preferred not to comment on the case, but confirmed his son's injuries. Asked if the teenager was a victim of bullying, the person in charge said it was a one-off case.

Reports indicate that the young man was tripped and when he got up, he was punched in the face, which made him fall. Afterwards, according to one of the reports, the attacker took advantage of the moment when the victim was on the ground to kick the teenager in the head.
A message attributed to the victim's father indicates that the student was delivered in a wheelchair, without remembering what had happened, with injuries to his mouth and with a t-shirt stained with blood. The report had access to a photo that confirms the version of blood on the clothes.

Several parents and friends of students who attend the school commented on the case on the school's social media. In one of the posts about the presentation of school officials, there are comments asking for justice for the victim and others commenting on the aggression.

Colégio Agostiniano São José was founded in 1960, in the Tatuapé neighborhood, east of São Paulo and is maintained by the Sociedade Agostiniana de Educação e Assistência, a civil association that has been operating in the education sector since 1934. In addition to the school where the attack took place, the group has two other units at Colégio São José, for different age groups and Colégio Agostiniano Mendel. Together the units have more than 10 thousand students.
Regarding the facts, the entity said that it regrets the episode that occurred at the school, last Tuesday, April 30th. We inform you that, in accordance with established procedures, we promptly provide support and first care to the student, in the local infirmary, and immediately contact those responsible.
We also inform you that, from the first moment, we are taking the appropriate measures, and providing all assistance to the families involved to support them in whatever is necessary.
In our 64-year history, we have always strived to promote peaceful coexistence among students, repudiating any form of violence.
We emphasize that the other student involved in the incident is no longer part of the institution's student body.
What the SSP says
The case was registered by the victim's father, aged 15, in the 81st Police District (Belém). He told the police team that his son was attacked by a student at the school where he studies, last Tuesday afternoon (30), around 12pm, on Rua Herval, in Belenzinho, east of the Capital. He was then called to the unit and took his son to the Hospital Beneficência Portuguesa. An expert opinion was requested and the facts were determined to be bodily injury.
