Traffic boss is arrested in the crowd during Fluminense vs Fortaleza

On the night of this Wednesday (17), while Fluminense and Fortaleza were playing the return game for the quarterfinals of the Copa do Brasil, the Military Police of Rio de Janeiro arrested, in the Maracanã crowd, a man nicknamed “Foca”.

He is appointed by the police as the head of drug trafficking in the Castelar Community, in Belford Roxo, in the Baixada Fluminense.

In a note, the Secretary of State for the Military Police told CNN who received information from the Intelligence Sector that the criminal would be in the crowd during the football match.

“Police officers together with BEPE teams located and detained the criminal, who is responsible for homicides that took place in the area of ​​operation of the 39th BPM,” the note said.

According to the police, “Foca” was on the run and had two outstanding arrest warrants.

The incident was forwarded to the 19th Civil Police Station of Rio de Janeiro.
