Traffic monitoring center is deactivated by the PM in Rio de Janeiro

A drug trafficking monitoring center was deactivated by the Military Police, in Volta Redonda, in the south of the state of Rio de Janeiro, this Sunday (15). Two people were arrested.

Police officers from the 28th BPM were called after receiving reports of drug sales in the Jardim do Aço neighborhood.

When they arrived at the scene, officers noticed that a group of suspicious men had fled to an apartment. Then, the police discovered that there was a video surveillance center in the property with several cameras on the streets.

From the image, it is possible to see that there are 16 different screens that monitor the movement of vehicles and people in the region.

In the action, a man who already had an open arrest warrant was detained along with a woman who accompanied him in the apartment.

The incident was forwarded to the 93rd Police Station in Volta Redonda.
