Social networks have come to the aid of the traffic police officers, who are calculating the violators. So, inspectors are looking for drivers who break the rules through Instagram, where every now and then there are spectacular videos with motorists performing dangerous maneuvers.
According to the AutoNews portal, in Ingushetia, traffic police officers identified the violator thanks to a post on Instagram. The driver posted a short video on a popular social network showing a yellow BMW drifting. The numbers on the video were easy to read, and thanks to this, it was not difficult to find the car owner. The inspectors took prompt measures to arrest the offender, having established the whereabouts of the car and delivered it to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia. As a result, several administrative protocols were drawn up for the driver. Firstly, he was issued a fine for toning in the amount of 500 rubles, and secondly, they drew up a protocol for non-payment of the administrative fine in due time.
This is not the first time that traffic offenders have been identified through social media. Earlier, traffic police inspectors identified and punished the owners of three Mercedes G-class SUVs who filmed provocative videos for TikTok, blocking passage and provoking emergency situations on the roads of Moscow.
