Tragedy for famous NASCAR driver: His mother-in-law killed wife and grandson and committed suicide

Thriller with the death of his driver’s in-laws Nascar, Jimmie Johnson and his 11-year-old nephew of Oklahoma, USA. According to police estimates, mother-in-law of the driver Terry Janway, shot and killed her husband Jack Janway and their grandson Dalton;late Monday night at the family home in Oklahoma.

Terry, 68, was found dead inside the home with her 69-year-old husband Jack and their 11-year-old grandson Dalton, according to the police. Terry and Jack were the parents of Johnson’s wife, Chandra.

“Please tell me this isn’t really happening, someone please”, Marianne Janway, Johnson’s sister-in-law, wrote on Facebook. A police officer investigating the case told People that a woman they believe was Terry called the department and said someone had a gun and then hung up. When officers arrived at the home they found a person dead in the hallway and then heard another gunshot. The officer then found two more bodies in another part of the house. Their deaths are being investigated as murder-suicide and police say Johnson’s mother-in-law, Terry Janway, is believed to be the prime suspect.

Jimmie and Chandra got married in 2004 and have two daughters.

Muskogee Mayor Marlon Coleman told FOX23 he knew the family well and they were prominent members of the community. “It was traumatic to find out that a family that had contributed so much to our community was involved in this type of incident,” the mayor said.

Second tragedy for the family

The tragedy comes nine years after Janway’s 27-year-old son Jordan died during a parachute accident in California. Jordan was killed when he collided with another skydiver during a free fall and failed to open his parachute.
