The last victim of the tragedy in Capitólio (MG) was released this Wednesday (12), who was hospitalized at Santa Casa de Passos. The patient is a 26-year-old sailor who underwent facial surgery. He was discharged around 11 am.
In all, two people were admitted to the Santa Casa in the city of Passos. The first victim to be discharged was a woman from Rio de Janeiro, who suffered trauma to her face. She was released on Sunday (9), a day after the accident, according to information from the hospital’s press office.

The collapse of a rock on speedboats in the Capitólio region, in Minas Gerais, left ten dead this Saturday afternoon (8).
A video circulating on social media shows the moment when a large block of stones collapses into the water. The incident would have started with a “water head” in the canyon region, causing the collapse of rocks and rocky structures, which hit at least three vessels – two sank.
At least 32 were injured in that accident. Among them, 23 people were treated at Santa Casa de Capitol with minor injuries and were soon released. Two others injured, with exposed fractures, were treated at Santa Casa in the municipality of Piumhi.
Three wounded were treated at Santa Casa in the city of Passos. Finally, four victims were treated at the Santa Casa de São João da Barra, with minor injuries.
