A tragedy occurred in the early hours of Sunday in a hospital unit in Hamburg, Germany, where three elderly men died and dozens of people were injured due to a fire. According to local authorities, the fire broke out shortly after midnight, starting the ground floor of the wing that hosted elderly patients. The fire spread quickly to the front of the upper floor, releasing dense smoke that was spread at all levels of the building. The victims were three men, aged 84, 85 and 87, who failed to be saved.
