At least nine people were killed in Russia, after a twin-engine plane crashed in Oblast, Kemerovo, southwestern Siberia.
According to RT, about 20 people were on board the Let L-410 aircraft, with several injured.
The plane suffered mechanical damage shortly after take-off with the pilots attempting a forced landing, which did not go well, causing the aircraft to capsize when one of its wings hit the ground.
It remains unknown what caused the mechanical failure, as the aircraft was in good technical condition and had already made three more flights in the last 24 hours.
