Tragedy in the Bergamo area: 18-year-old stabbed to death, a peer arrested

He was spending an evening together with a friend, to chat and – probably – to plan his birthdaywhich would arrive in early November. Then Sara Centelleghe18 year old from Costa Volpino, a municipality of just 8 thousand inhabitants on the Bergamo side of the Lake Iseoremained alone for a short period of time – 15, perhaps 20 minutes – in which she was attacked and killed inside his home.

According to the first ones reconstructionswhich will have to be confirmed by the investigators, her friend apparently quickly took to the streets looking for something to drink. Upon her return she would immediately notice something strange the presence of blood on the steps of the stairs: then the discovery of the lifeless body and the desperate screams which alarmed the neighbors, who immediately rushed to try to help.

It seems like right traces of blood led the Carabinieri towards the person who immediately appeared the main suspect: Jashan Deep Badhan, 19-year-old electrician of Indian origin, who lives with his family in a apartment close to that of the victim, but on another scale. During the long interrogation – according to what was confirmed by his lawyer atAdnkronos – confessed to the murder and was then taken to prison.

Sara, again according to the first reports, was killed by some scissors shotsinflicted on the face and chest. On themurder weapon little is known yet, but it seems that the killer found it – and then left it – on the crime scenean element that raises doubts about premeditation. So what caused this crazy gesture? The motive remains unknown: the interrogation before the investigating judge will probably shed light on this dramatic story.
