A small private jet crashed yesterday in Tennessee, USA, and rescue teams no longer have any hope of finding survivors.
Among those aboard is believed to be Joe Lara, a film and television actor who had become famous for playing Tarzan, according to AMPE.
“We are no longer looking for survivors at this stage,” Joshua Saunders, head of the search and rescue team, told a news conference. “Several parts of the aircraft and human remains were found yesterday afternoon,” he explained.
The private jet had taken off Saturday from Izmir’s airport in Tennessee and was bound for Palm Beach, Florida, but crashed shortly after takeoff at Lake Percy Priest, about 20 miles south of Nashville.
Joe Lara became famous when he starred in the TV series “Tarzan: The Epic Adventures” from 1996 to 1997. In recent years he had devoted himself to country music, as broadcast by AMPE.
His wife, Gwen Champlin Lara, who was also aboard the plane, led a Christian group that helped her followers lose weight, the Weigh Down Ministries.
