A Netflix released this Monday (01) the first trailer of the first part of the 6th season of “Cobra Kai “The first episodes of the new phase of the series will be released in July 18th .
The new season will be divided into three parts, with 15 episodes in total.
“Cobra Kai” is a spin-off of the successful saga “Karate Kid”. With five seasons, the series premiered in 2018 on YouTube Premium and was later purchased by Netflix.
The series focuses on Jonny Lawrence, William Zabka’s character in the films, who decides to create the Cobra Kai karate dojo. In doing so, he once again develops a rivalry with Daniel La Russo, Ralph Macchio’s character.
According to Netflix’s promotional text, the new season will focus on the elimination of the Cobra Kai dojo and the decisions that needed to be made by the senseis and students when participating in Sekai Taikai, a world competition in the sport.
In addition to starring in the spin-off, Ralph Macchio and William Zabka are also executive producers of “Cobra Kai.”
