Travis Kelce’s dad likes Taylor Swift to support his son’s busy sleep schedule

Dad’s stamp of approval: Got it. We know, thanks to the enthusiastic NFL camera crews, that Taylor Swift he spent a good amount of time bonding with ‘s mom Travis Kelce, Donna Kelce, during the several Kansas City Chiefs games he attended. But now it’s dad Kelce who takes the field. And Ed Kelce he’s a fan, apparently.

“I think she’s very genuine,” he told Wednesday at Entertainment Tonightreferring to Swift and thinking their relationship is “just amazing.”

“They are two wonderful people and they enjoy each other’s company and support each other,” she said, noting that “this is a difficult time for both of them to be in a relationship. She’s in the middle of this huge tour, he’s immersed in the NFL season. At least he takes his commitment as seriously as she takes his.” And importantly, that means making a commitment to letting Travis nap.

“I think she realizes how hard Travis works to sleep, 10 hours a day, when your body is going through something like this.”Ed Kelce said, “so I think they’re both very supportive.”

On Monday he said a People that Swift is “a very, very sweet, very charming, down-to-earth young woman” and that she scored big points with him by doing something surprising the first time they met: collect rubbish.

“We were sitting in the suite, she got up and in the front room she got up to go get a drink or something and started picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that were scattered around. Because in the suites everyone takes things and empties them wherever they happen.”

“And I think he didn’t get the diva memo. She didn’t understand the concept of a spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to do it.
