Three men broke into the home of actress Bruna Lombardi, in the Morumbi neighborhood, in the south of São Paulo, on Sunday (19). They were arrested red-handed for theft from a residence, vehicle seizure and criminal association.
The information was confirmed to CNN by the São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SP).
A Military Police team was called, around 11pm, to investigate the suspicious behavior of a car parked outside a mansion in the neighborhood with a man inside. Arriving there, the police heard from the 30-year-old suspect that he was participating in a home robbery.
Two other men who participated in the robbery, one aged 26 and the other aged 27, were leaving the house when the accomplice was approached, realized that the police were there and tried to flee on foot.
The three were arrested and taken to the 89th DP (Jardim Taboão). In the car, a 380 caliber pistol and objects belonging to Bruna Lombardi were seized. The car used by the trio had a tampered license plate and had been stolen.
According to the SSP, they were arrested red-handed for home theft, vehicle seizure and criminal association. The case was also registered as tampering with a motor vehicle identification sign, illegal possession of a permitted firearm and vehicle location/seizure.
In a note published on Instagram, Bruna Lombardi confirmed the invasion and theft. The actress explained that there was no one inside the mansion and said that everything was recovered “thanks to the action of the police”.
