TRON Founder Justin Sun Goes To CCP Research Project

Justin Sun, the creator of the Tron blockchain, announced his participation in the research project of the Central Party School – the higher education institution of the Chinese Communist Party.

press release with the China Academy of Information and Communication Technology, Justin Sun will be the deputy head of the research project. The project was approved by the Central Committee of the party to consider the benefits of blockchain in social management and search for innovative applications

Sun said he hopes to be the next Liang Jianzhang, referring to the Chinese internet entrepreneur and CEO of travel platform Trip.com, who retired from his leadership role in 2016 at the age of 47.

Chinese reporter Colin Wu tweeted that Justin will not actually retire, but is keen to show that he has a good relationship with China’s ruling party.
