The European low cost airline easyJet faced technical problems with the IT system that forced it cancel about 200 flights, having already canceled several hundred due to staff shortages in recent weeks.
“We apologize to customers whose flights have been affected by IT problems,” the company said in a Twitter post late yesterday.
EasyJet had initially hinted that flights scheduled to depart between 1pm and 3pm would be canceled, but eventually added that problems could persist despite the technical issue being resolved.
