Truck moving for striker Alan Kardec is stolen in RJ

The truck that was moving striker Alan Kardec, who currently plays for Atlético-MG, was stolen last Thursday morning (12), in Rio de Janeiro. The athlete, who was moving from Belo Horizonte to the capital of Rio, posted about the robbery on his social networks.

According to a print published by Kardec on Instagram, the moving company’s employees were captured by robbers near Avenida Brasil and taken to a community. The victims were released, however, the truck was stolen by the criminals.

The player posted a print on his Instagram account that shows the moment he was warned about the crime by company employees.

On the day of the crime, the player was celebrating 10 years of marriage with his wife, Celeste Maria. In a post dedicated to his partner, Kardec highlighted that the stolen vehicle contained “’simple objects’ that have a very great sentimental value” such as the couple’s children’s schoolwork, clothes, toys and photos.”

According to the athlete’s advisors, the player’s contract with Atlético-MG ends in December 31st and will not be renewed. With an extensive football CV, Alan has played for numerous clubs such as Vasco da Gama, São Paulo, Palmeiras, Chongqing Lifan and Shenzhen.

The Civil Police informed the CNN that the 21st Police Station (Bonsucesso) is investigating the case and that a suspect was taken and interviewed by agents at the scene.
