Self-employed truck drivers who were not awarded the payment of the first installment of Auxílio Caminhoneiro, in August, can make a self-declaration to receive the benefit of R$ 1,000 approved in Constitutional Amendment n.º 123.
Self-employed professionals who have an active registration with the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT), but who did not have an operation record this year, are able to make the self-declaration.
The deadline starts this Monday (15th), and ends on August 29th. Truck drivers who register within this period will receive the first and second installments on September 6th.
According to information from the Ministry of Labor, at a press conference this Monday (15), a total of 190,861 Autonomous Cargo Carriers (TAC) were considered qualified and received two installments of the benefit on August 9th.
According to the Minister of Labor, José Carlos Oliveira, the ANTT base has a total of 848,333, if they are regularized, they can receive the benefit. “Our goal is to pay all autonomous carriers that are listed in the ANTT base, but some need to do their homework to receive.”, he highlighted.
Also according to the folder, a total of 190,861 carriers went through the entire process and received assistance on August 9th.
