Trucks with humanitarian aid arrived in the southern part of the Gaza Strip

In its southern part Gaza Strip trucks carrying humanitarian aid have arrived, passing through the Rafah border crossing, a Palestinian official told Reuters.

At least 20 trucks, expected to enter the Gaza Strip “they represent only 3% of the number of trucks entering Gaza daily to cover health and humanitarian needs before the war crisis”said a statement from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip issued a statement stressing that the exclusion of fuel from the humanitarian aid reaching Gaza will endanger the lives of those being treated in hospitals in the area.

“We appeal to the international community and Egypt to work together immediately to supply fuel and basic medical supplies, before more victims are lost in hospitals”said the relevant announcement.

Over 4,300 dead

The death toll in the Gaza Strip increased to 4,385with the wounded reaching 13,651 since the start of the new war between Israel and Hamas on October 7, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The number of dead includes 1,756 children and 976 women, the same ministry added.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of France supports the need to organize a humanitarian corridor

French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonnad argued today the need for a humanitarian corridor to distribute humanitarian aid to the civilian population of Gazawhile the organization of such a corridor could lead to a ceasefire.

She herself made the above comment in her speech at the Cairo Peace Conference, following the escalating war conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
