Donald Trump won’t try to oust Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell before his term ends, and is considering giving JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon the Treasury if he wins the election on November 5, the Republican candidate said in an interview he gave to the Bloomberg news agency last month and was broadcast on Tuesday. The interview was granted in late June, the agency said. Mr. Powell’s term ends in 2026, and he has repeatedly said he intends to see it through. His seat on the Fed’s board will end in 2028.
