Former US President Donald Trump has criticized his opponent Kamala Harris for participating in an interview on CNN this Thursday (29) alongside his running mate Tim Walz.
“She had an interview today, she didn’t want to go alone. How do you think President Xi is going to handle this? He’s just savoring it. So she went with this guy that nobody’s ever heard of,” Trump said during remarks at a campaign event in Potterville, Michigan.
“Dana Bash is interviewing Kamala, and people just want to see if she can get through the interview. Nobody knows what’s going on. I’ve done so many interviews in the last two months. Every time I go out, I have an interview… people, reporters, we talk to them, and they ask me every question in the book, and we answer them, and you don’t see any scandal,” Trump said.
The Republican’s campaign has previously criticized Harris for not participating in an interview since he became the Democratic nominee.
“As president, you have to be able to do — you’re dealing with the toughest, smartest, meanest people in the world. If you can’t do an interview, we’ve got the wrong person,” Trump previously said.
