Trump distances himself from the signs scandal and suggests a problem in the app

President Donald Trump distanced himself from the signal chat scandal when asked if he still believes that shared information was not confidential.

“Well, that’s what I heard. I don’t know. I’m not sure, you would have to ask the many people involved,” Trump told reporters.

Trump stated that the inspector general’s report on the case “does not bother him,” but began to question the app itself.

“I want to find out if there is any errors or if the signal doesn’t work. It may be that the signal is not a good company,” said Trump.

“I think the signal can be defective, to be honest with you,” Trump added later. “We use the signal, and everyone uses the signal, but it can be a defective platform, and we’ll have to figure it out.”
