US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he may be revising his stance on the removal of Federal Bank President Jerome Powell. Trump made this comment in a long post on the Truth Social Social Network platform, criticizing the Fed’s decision not to reduce interest rates. “I do not know why the Board of Directors (Fed) does not bypass it,” Trump writes, referring to Powell, using offensive characterizations for the head of the US Central Bank. “Maybe, maybe maybe, I need to change my mind about his dismissal? But regardless of this, his term is over soon, “he adds. “I fully understand that my strong criticisms for him make it harder to do what he should do, reduce interest rates, but I have tried all possible ways,” President Trump argues.
