Trump forbids the US to enter 43 countries – how lists were shaped

The US government is considering imposing restrictions on citizens up to 43 countries in the context of a new travel restriction on the United States, which will be wider than the restrictions imposed during the first term of President Trump, according to officials who are aware of the issue. A draft list of recommendations developed by diplomats and security officials proposes a “red” list of 11 countries whose citizens will be completely prohibited from entering the United States. These countries are Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela and Yemen, according to the Nytimes.
