The government of US President Donald Trump has announced that he will make a parade in celebration of the country’s 250th anniversary on June 14 in Washington, DC, the date also marks the Republican’s anniversary.
Trump should speak at the event, which will be attended by active troops, as well as veterans and wounded soldiers.
The parade will show military and current military equipment, fly over the American Air Force and military bands.
According to the White House, the country’s army is on its way to achieving the annual recruitment goals well before expected, with more than 85% of the goal for 2025 already achieved.
The second US Continental Congress voted for the creation of the Continental Army on June 14, 1775, creating the first national military force of the United States, more than a year before the country’s declaration of independence.
Since returning to a second term as leader of the country, Trump has interfered in the US Army, as the decree that prohibits transgender people to serve in the Armed Forces, approved by the US Supreme Court.
During his recent visit to the Middle East, the leader first visited and spoke at the Middle East US Military Base in Qatar, which houses more than 10,000 soldiers.
