Trump has 48% of voting intentions; Kamala Harris, 46%, says NYT/Siena College poll

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is tied within the margin of error with Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, 48% to 46%, in a New York Times/Siena College poll of registered voters conducted July 22-24 and published Thursday (25).

The survey of 1,142 registered voters across the country had a margin of error of 3.3 percentage points.

Polls indicate tight race between Trump and Harris

Recent electoral polls indicate a tight race between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in a possible clash for the Presidency of the United States, according to a survey by the Washington Post newspaper.

There are scenarios in which the Democrat has more voting intentions, and even in those in which the Republican has a higher percentage, the difference does not exceed the margin of error.

CNN survey also shows close clash

A new survey by CNN conducted by SSRS, indicates a technical tie between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump in voting intentions for the 2024 presidential elections.

The survey shows Trump with 49% of the intentions among registered voters, and Kamala with 46%. The margin of error is three percentage points, either way.

This is a closer race than the Joe Biden-Donald Trump matchup, according to the previous poll by CNN.
