The Republican former president blamed the administration of his Democratic successor, Joe Biden, for weakening the US’s leadership role on the international stage, to the extent that it is losing the support of its traditional allies. “The world is broken, it’s blowing up everywhere, and the US has no reason to,” Trump said.
