Trump reportedly took a map with classified information from the White House

Many witnesses were asked if the former US president Donald Trump he showed them a map containing classified information and took it with him when he left the White House, according to the New York Times. It is not clear what this map depicted, beyond them “sensitive information”writes the newspaper citing four sources with knowledge of the case.

Trump is being investigated by the Justice Department over his handling of classified documents after he leaves the presidency in 2021. The probes focus mainly on whether he kept boxes of sensitive information at his home in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.

FBI agents seized thousands of government records, some of which bore the clue “top secret” from this house, last August. The investigation is one of two being conducted for the former president by special counsel Jack Smith.

Trump, who was indicted in late March in the Stormy Daniels case in New York, argues that these investigations are politically motivated.

He sued his former lawyer

Today, it became known that the former president sued his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, seeking more than $500 million in damages for the case for which he is being prosecuted in New York.

Cohen had testified before a Manhattan grand jury, which later indicted Trump on 34 counts of falsifying business documents. In his lawsuit, Trump accuses Cohen of violating attorney-client privilege by disclosing “confidential” information and “spread false information.”

It was Cohen who, before the 2016 presidential election, paid $130,000 to buy the silence of porn star Stormy Daniels, who claimed she had sexual relations with Trump ten years earlier.
