Trump says Alcatraz prison is a strong representation of “law and order”

United States President Donald Trump has said he wants to reopen Alcatraz because she “represents something very strong, very powerful, in terms of law and order.”

Trump was questioned today at an event at the White House about the idea behind his publication on social networks, claiming to want to reopen the prison.

He responded by praising Alcatraz’s history of housing “the most violent criminals in the world.”

“No one has ever escaped Alcatraz, and that represented something strong, related to law and order. We need law and order in this country, and so we will analyze it,” the Republican expressed.

Three people escaped from the famous old prison on the coast of San Francisco in 1962 and were never found.

Alcatraz was closed in 1963 because, according to the department of prisons, it was “very expensive to continue operating.” The place now works like a museum.

The president made similar comments yesterday, writing in the social truth that the prison “will serve as a symbol of law, order and justice.”

Trump said the building is now “stopped there, rusting and rotting” and that some people in his government will analyze if “we can bring him back in style.”
