United States President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he will announce 25% tariffs on all of all steel and aluminum imports to the country on Monday, another major escalation in his trade policy review.
Trump, speaking to reporters on the presidential plane Air Force Onehe also said he will announce reciprocal tariffs on Tuesday (11) or Wednesday (12), to take effect almost immediately.
During his first term, Trump imposed 25% tariffs on steel and 10% of aluminum, but later granted several tax quotas partners, including Canada, Mexico, the European Union and the United Kingdom.
