United States President Donald Trump said on Friday that he plans to dismiss several people from the Kennedy Center’s curator council council, and dismiss the president, billionaire philanthropist David Rubenstein.
Trump added that a new advice will soon be announced that he will have him as president.
“I decided to immediately resign several individuals from the curators, including the president, who do not share our vision to a gold era in arts and culture,” Trump said in a publication in the Truth Social This Friday.
He added: “We will soon announce a new advice, with an amazing president, Donald J. Trump!”
The John F. Kennedy Center for performing arts in Washington hosts more than 2,000 events each year and is a memorial to former US President John F Kennedy. It is also the official residence of the US National Symphony Orchestra and the Washington National Opera.
