United States President Donald Trump said on Friday (31) that he will talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The American leader, however, gave no details of when this conversation would happen.
While signing another round of executive orders, the Republican said he and Putin will do something “significant together.” The US president confirmed that Washington and Moscow are having “serious discussions” about the war in Ukraine.
Trump has been saying since he took command of the White House that he wants to meet the Russian leader to end the east European conflict. A date, however, has not yet been released for the leaders’ meeting.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said earlier that “The Crisis in Ukraine” could have been avoided if President Donald Trump were in power at the time the conflict began. He also stated that he was ready to talk to the American leader on the subject.
